Beautiful scene. Almost always, when a surfer leaves the water, they will linger and gaze at the surf. It is like departing the one you love and you just want one last look, one last touch. This is why a person who surfs is more likely to be late for an appoinment. One last wave ridden, one last look, one last touch. That is why I was still there to take this photo. I had left the water and changed, but still could'nt bring myself to leave. Taken in Oceanside CA.

Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.
Yes, the one program i have that does'nt choke on higher res only seems to adjust reds and oranges with any decency. So my sunsets can be corrected to pretty close to what the actual photo looks like.

May seem strange getting a reply to this now. But I was answering a comment on this photo and found a whole bunch that just seemed to slip through the cracks. So a very belated thanks. Don't know if I ever mentioned it, but i built a hollow wooden paddle board. 9'2".
