Finally got off my duff and went shooting last night. Went to a hill overlooking the bay from the east side. I think I'll go back in December when the sun sets a little more southerly. The view is almost due south so I did'nt quite get the colors in the sky I was looking for.

Wow, I can't wait to hear my granddaughters reaction to some of this sights there, this included. They were going to spend the night in Sacramento last night and drive on the Oceanside in the morning. I am so excited for her. I will try to get Janet to post a couple wedding pictures on her site, here. I don't know if you had ashleylove as a friend or not. I have a couple of pictures I can post on my site.

Splendid night photo !

Yeah. I kinda like the haze, but I'm intending to get back on a December day with some scattered clouds and a nice clear twilight. Get some real glow in the sky.

Not ahleylove. But JanetMae I do. Perhaps you could link me to her account? I'd be happy to add her.
So by now they may be arriving here it looks.

San Diego is kinda funny, in that there is a good deal of sprawl here. And in day t day living, it can be hard to get to see a lot of the great sights here. It usually takes some effort. For this shot, I had spotted a hill off to the east of the bridge, then had to find where the thing is on a map to get there. Then had to decide to be there at the right time to get the shot. Usually it boils down to deciding to be in the right place, at the right time.

Though there's lot's that is not so hard to get to. Views of the skyline, Balboa Park, the Zoo, all our wonderful beaches. And where they're moving to in Oceanside, they will not be too far from some nice country side too.

That's part of the bridge, coming off the bridge onto the highway 5 that runs left to right in this shot. Big curving ramp. I drive that at least once a day. :) It would be nice if they could light that up too.

Thank you. :)
